I am physician and mental health care provider committed to whole person healing - mind, body and spirit. My approach is grounded in the belief that the human body and spirit is wise, resilient, and has an innate capacity to heal. Therefore, I believe my clients hold the key to their own healing -  my role is simply to help support them and hold loving space in the process. I work with modalities such as ketamine therapy, brainspotting and hypnotherapy which work at the subconscious level, and share in common the recognition of the client as healer.

Dr. Gundermann grew up in Washington state and earned her bachelor’s degree at Western Washington University. After completing her undergraduate education, she served two years in the Peace Corps as a Community Health Volunteer in Uganda. She spent an additional three years working in Europe, before returning to Washington to pursue her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University. While at Bastyr, she focused her elective work in nutrition, studying the whole foods approach, intuitive eating, Health at Every Size (HAES), as well as ayurvedic nutrition.

Dr. Gundermann began her career practicing primary care. Her experience as a primary care physician was a window into the mental health crisis, and helped her understand the extent to which mental, emotional and spiritual imbalances impact the physical body, and an individual's overall sense of wellbeing. This sparked her passion for integrative mental health and holistic psychiatry, as well as led her to pursue her MSc in consciousness, spirituality and transpersonal psychology. Dr. Gundermann is passionate about modalities such as psychedelic therapy, brainspotting and hypnotherapy which .... recognize the patient's innate ability to heal themselves, and thus are highly empowering therapies.

Dr. Gundermann is committed to providing care which addresses physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Her foundation in naturopathic and functional medicine allows her to truly treat the whole person. Furthermore, Dr. Gundermann also incorporates her background in transpersonal psychology, meditation and yoga into her medical practice. Her love for functional medicine has led her to complete several different trainings through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She is also an experienced medical interpreter and available to provide medical care in Spanish. She values an interprofessional approach to medicine and appreciates the opportunity to collaborate with different types of health professionals.
